Fiat takes centre stage once again with the debut of the new Grande Panda 4x4 concept - a legendary icon reborn to capture the imagination of drivers around the world.
The next chapter in the Italian brand's heritage marks a potential true symbol of versatility, reliability and freedom on four wheels. With its gaze firmly fixed on the future, the new Grande Panda 4x4 project is destined to be a manifesto for a fresh vision of sustainable mobility - a vision grounded in innovation, in line with the dictates of the moment, while retaining the characteristics that have made it a global cult favourite.
First launched in 1983, the Fiat Panda 4x4 quickly won over generations of enthusiasts by offering a unique combination of practicality, comfort and elegance, all packed into a compact form capable of conquering any terrain. Small on the outside but cleverly spacious on the inside, it offered everyday driving combined with robust off-road capabilities, embodying the ideal balance between a city car and a mountain car. It was a revolution on the move: accessible, adaptable and loved by all.
This direct successor to the Panda 4x4 serves as a reminder that tradition and innovation are key ingredients for building a significant legacy. With its spirit focused on the future, the design of the new Grande Panda 4x4 represents the most complete expression of an idea that is constantly evolving, representing the starting point — the foundation of an exciting journey.

From a technical point of view, the Grande Panda 4x4 concept was conceived with an electrified innovative rear axle. This feature allowed the vehicle to deliver impressive performance in urban conditions and on more demanding terrain. It is a conscious choice that underlines Fiat's ongoing commitment to adopting increasingly sustainable and advanced technology, all while preserving the adventurous spirit and everyday practicality that have always defined the Panda 4x4.
The design — a cornerstone of the Italian brand's philosophy — has also been redesigned, with bold, distinctive details.
The mood that guided the choice of materials/colours and defined the spirit of this model is definitely the concept of freedom, adventure and the desire to rediscover a deep connection with nature. On the exterior, the iconic dark red colour has been reinterpreted in a modern key with a deep, enveloping Bordeaux colour. Beige details dress the model in a nostalgic reference to the great 4x4 icon.
Fiat's potential next four-wheel drive model is equipped with two lights on the roof rack, in addition to those on the front, and will most likely have other accessories.
With this modern reinterpretation of the Panda 4x4, Fiat confirms its desire to combine heritage and innovation, responding to the needs of the changing mobility landscape, without ever losing sight of the authentic and deeply popular soul of the model.
