Tesla offers $10,550 in discounts on inventory Cybertrucks

Tesla is now offering up to $10,550 discounts on inventory Cybertrucks in the States, up from $6,000. The company will tack on free lifetime Supercharging for buyers of Foundation Series units.

If you have longed to own the steel-body Cybertruck, now might be the best time to take the plunge. Tesla has increased the discounts on the pickup truck from $6,000 to $10,550, subject to terms and conditions.

For American buyers, the special offer applies to the 2024 model year units. Tesla is slashing up to $10,000 on the Foundation Series and up to $10,550 on the Non-Foundation Series, translating to healthy savings.

Tesla is sweetening the deal further with the Foundation Series by throwing in free lifetime charging at its popular Superchargers as it tries to clear out last year’s inventory. Meanwhile, the 2025 models that qualify for the $7,500 federal tax incentives are excluded from any of these discounts.

The automaker is also trying to appeal to more car owners by launching a version about $10,000 cheaper. However, the ‘cheapskates’ will have to make do without some enhancements, including Air Suspension, a tonneau cover, and an assortment of interior features.

The Cybertruck ended Q1 2025 as the best-selling battery-powered pickup truck in the US. However, the EV has not been the raging success that CEO Elon Musk hoped for. Sales numbers might start to climb, though, as Tesla brings the Cybertruck to the Middle East, where luxury vehicles are among the most sought-after.

However, Tesla stripped the vehicle of several features, including Air Suspension, a tonneau cover, and interior features. For example, the Rear-Wheel-Drive trim of the Cybertruck has textile seats and no rear touchscreen, two things that come standard in the other trim levels.

The Cybertruck is the best-selling electric pickup in the United States, outperforming formidable competitors like the Ford F-150 Lightning and Chevrolet Silverado EV. However, Tesla is still working to get the vehicle to a lower price point that makes it more accessible to consumers, as its current pricing is a far cry from what was intended.
