Kolesa website: BMW M5 Neue Klasse 2027
The next BMW M5 is expected to hit the international market in 2027, but until then, we can only imagine how the iconic sports sedan will present itself to consumers.
However, the Russians from the Kolesa website decided to anticipate their vision of how the next M5 will present itself and used the BMW Vision Driving Experience prototype, which tests the brand's technologies.
Although it is closer to the Neue Klasse 2025, the BMW Vision Driving Experience seems to have served its purpose of representing the next generation of the brand's mid-size car well.
According to observations made on the VDE, the opportunity arose to introduce this “double nostril” style, where the double kidney is not evident, even though it is present in the entire set.
They introduced two tiny Matrix LED or Matrix Laser headlights, with LED daytime running lights in the two rectangles seen in the projection.
The set merges with the mesh of the custom grille that bears the characteristic “M5”, with a central crease on the hood that connects with the front central column, which separates the nostrils.
The bumper features two large air intakes, plus air intakes at the ends, thus giving the New M5 a much more expressive appearance.
The multifaceted bumper also supports a huge air diffuser, as well as four exhaust nozzles for the powerful 4.4-liter V8 engine.
Made on the updated CLAR modular platform, the New M5 has 585 horsepower and an additional 197 horsepower, from an electric motor installed inside the eight-speed automatic gearbox.
With four-wheel drive, the New M5 should reach 727 horsepower and 101.6 kgfm, however, it will add more technologies to increase its performance.
Will this really be the case? We don't know, but the M5 will continue to use its gasoline engine for quite some time before the inevitable full electrification.
