MANHART MH3 800 TOURING: MUITA POTÊNCIA E AGRESSIVIDADE PARA A PERUA BÁVARA

BMW M3 Touring Manhart

The BMW M3 Touring is a performance monster. The Audi RS 4 Avant and the Mercedes-AMG C 63 Estate finally have a rival in the Bavarian brand. Muscular, sharp and aerodynamic, the M-specific design features are harmoniously integrated into its modern design language, especially in this Manhart MH3 800 Touring.

However, we already know that in the world of aftermarket specialists there are many who find what the factory offers insufficient and want more and more power and aggression, which is why Manhart presents its MH3 800 Touring package for the new BMW M3 Touring xDrive. As usual, this results in a complete aesthetic and mechanical transformation.

On the outside, it is dressed in black for a much more sinister appearance. It contrasts with the classic gold vinyls and carbon fibre parts of Manhart. Its height has been reduced by 30 mm thanks to new H&R springs with carbon reinforcement. They are paired with a set of 20-inch gold Raffa wheels at the front and 21-inch at the rear.

The Manhart signature is also evident at the front, with a carbon fiber splitter, new bumper and redesigned hood. At the rear, there is a new spoiler and a revised diffuser that houses a muffler with four carbon fiber or ceramic end caps. Inside, the highlights include the sliding roof and specialized floor mats.

The wheels are fitted with sports tires measuring 255/30 on the front axle and 295/25 on the rear axle. As its name suggests, the powerful 3.0-liter 6-cylinder engine has been upgraded from the original 510 hp and 650 Nm to a not inconsiderable 855 hp and 1,090 Nm. This was achieved thanks to an MHtronik Powerbox update of the ECU software, forged pistons and connecting rods, a Wagner Tuning intercooler, a carbon intake and a Remus stainless steel exhaust system.

The new exhaust has a valve control function and four 100 mm diameter pipes. Manhart makes it possible to do away with standard catalytic converters and OPF/GPF filters. In terms of performance, it can reach 200 km/h in under 10 seconds and reach 250 km/h in under 15 seconds. To cope with the additional power, the 8-speed automatic transmission has also been reinforced.
