Martin Macík took another important step towards the title of the Dakar 2025 in the trucks. This Monday (13), the driver from Czech Republic won his fourth victory in eight stages and opened up an even greater advantage over his main rivals in the world's biggest rally, after completing the 487 km of the race in 5h26min52s.

From the beginning of the day, in the race to Riyadh, Macík showed himself to be in control of the race and soon opened up an advantage, but saw Mitchel van den Brink make things difficult at times. In the final stretch, however, shortly after km 200, the Dutchman lost pace and dropped down the leaderboard, leaving victory in the hands of his opponent. Ales Loprais finished the day in second place, 5min22s behind the winner, with Vaidotas Zala completing the podium in third place, six minutes behind Macík. Kees Koolen was fourth in the eighth special, followed by Martin Soltys, Mitchel van den Brink, Martin van den Brink, Maurik van den Heuvel, Richard De Groot and Karel Posledni in the top 10.

In the overall truck classification at Dakar 2025, Macík remains comfortably in the lead, with an aggregate time of 46h45min57s. Mitchel van den Brink remains in second place, 2h29min behind, and is now closely followed by Loprais. Soltys and Koolen complete the list of the top five. The Dakar leaves Riyadh on Tuesday (14), heading towards Haradh. Competitors will face a timed stretch of 357 km, in addition to another 232 km of travel.
