TOYOTA

APRESENTADO NOS ESTADOS UNIDOS, TOYOTA LAND CRUISER 2025 CHEGA MAIS CAPAZ DO QUE NUNCA

2025 Land Cruiser lineup: The Perfect Blend of Capability and Premium Features

The 2025 Land Cruiser is the perfect blend of capability and premium features. First introduced in the United States in 1958, the Land Cruiser is the godfather of Toyota’s incredible off-road heritage. The Land Cruiser 250 series enters its second year as a highly capable off-road vehicle packed with premium features at a more affordable price than the previous generation. This icon boasts stunning looks, advanced technology and the latest off-road driving aids. The 2025 Land Cruiser is expected to arrive in U.S. dealerships in late October, with a starting manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $56,450.

Vehicle Performance...All Land Cruisers are exclusively powered by a powerful i-FORCE MAX turbocharged hybrid powertrain mated to a full-time all-wheel drive system. This high-performance hybrid powertrain produces 326 horsepower and 630 Nm of torque.

Toyota’s i-FORCE MAX powertrains feature an electric motor in the housing between the turbocharged engine and 8-speed automatic transmission. This design delivers maximum performance and increased efficiency. Toyota engineers developed this powertrain with a focus on heavy-duty performance and reliability. The Land Cruiser delivers impressive power figures, with a manufacturer-estimated 21.8 mpg combined fuel economy.

Off-Road Focus... A hallmark of the Land Cruiser’s heritage is its go-anywhere capability. Engineers embraced this legacy by including lockable center and rear differentials as standard equipment on all models. The electronically lockable rear differential can help split power 50/50 between the rear wheels to improve traction and reduce wheel slip on rough terrain. Another feature available on the Land Cruiser is the Front Stabilizer Bar Disconnect (SDM), which increases suspension flexibility at the push of a button. With the front stabilizer bar disconnected, articulation is significantly increased, helping the front tires maintain contact with the ground. Multi-Terrain Select, which is functional in both 4WD High and 4WD Low, offers adjustable settings to help control wheel slip on various terrain types, including mud, dirt and sand.

The Land Cruiser offers standard CRAWL Control, which acts as a low-speed off-road cruise control with five selectable speeds. Hill Descent Assist Control is another standard off-road feature that helps the driver navigate downhill slopes by limiting the vehicle’s speed. Other traction aids included include Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) and an Automatic Limited Slip Differential (Auto LSD).

The engineers behind this next-generation structure have achieved increased rigidity and improved ride comfort using innovations such as laser welding technology, which reduces mass in areas where it is not needed, while reinforcing where it needs it most. This high-strength structure means the Land Cruiser is oversized and ready to take on the harshest environments. This enhanced structure, combined with the powerful i-FORCE MAX powertrain, allows the Land Cruiser to tow up to 6,000 pounds.

Premium feel, even on the trail...The Land Cruiser is Toyota’s original SUV and as such, it must deliver on all expectations: legendary capability, advanced technology, safety and premium touches for the driver and passengers. The adoption of the modern TNGA-F platform not only adds strength, but also improves ride comfort and on-road handling. Passengers also don’t suffer from the vehicle’s off-road capability, as the comfortable heated and ventilated front seats and reclining rear seats make long journeys a breeze.

An 8.0-inch or an available 12.3-inch multimedia display displays Toyota’s latest multimedia audio system, designed and developed by Toyota’s Connected Technologies team in Texas. The system supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and pairs well with the available 14-speaker JBL audio system. Qi wireless charging is available with increased power. Dual USB-C ports are included in the first row and two for second-row passengers. There are two more USB-C ports and a 2,400-watt (120V) household-style power outlet in the cargo area. A 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster with four different styles and customizable widgets is also available.

Tough obstacles are often encountered when venturing on challenging and technical trails. The available Multi-Terrain Monitor (MTM) system can act as a spotter, using cameras to display the vehicle’s surroundings on the touchscreen, revealing potential obstacles ahead.

Standard on all models, the Land Cruiser features the Intelligent Key System with push-button start. With an active Remote Connect subscription or trial on select models, a digital key connects with compatible smartphones to enable vehicle entry, trunk access and start (4G network dependent). The digital key can also be shared remotely, offering greater control over vehicle access without having to hand over the physical key. Additionally, a credit card-sized smart card is available, allowing the driver to carry the key with them for added convenience.
