Onewhell Pint S: a very different electric skateboard

I never learned how to skateboard. I even tried a few times, but I fell every time. Now, despite the falls, I don't have any trauma from the vehicle. On the contrary: I would love to ride one – what stops me is my lack of skill and balance. This, by the way, is a relatively common problem: it's very difficult to balance on that board, especially if you have to push off with one foot.

And so they invented a one-wheeled electric skateboard. And the manufacturers promise that you don't need any experience to use it. In addition, it's easier to keep your balance and it accelerates on its own: you just need to slightly lean your body in the desired direction.

The latest release is called Pint S. It is the evolution of the Pint X, one of the brand's best-sellers. Basically, Future Motion has added all the extra features possible to its successor – and has also increased its range and power. The evolution of the electric skateboard... The Pint S reaches a top speed of 32 km/h, up from the previous model's 28 km/h.

Its battery can travel up to 32 kilometers per charge, also up from the Pint X's 29 kilometers.

The main difference, however, as I said, are the accessories.

One of them makes the skateboard 15% bigger, providing more comfort for those with larger feet.

Another cool accessory is an included aluminum handle, which will make transporting your electric skateboard much easier.

Another difference of the model is its slightly more curved design, which increases stability.

It is worth mentioning that you can customize your experience with the Onewheel through a cell phone app.

With it, you control the acceleration profile, curve compensation and even jump reactivation.

In other words, if you just want a vehicle to calmly go to the nearest bakery, the Pint S will do it for you.

This same Pint S, however, can be used for some races or for radical maneuvers on off-road terrain.

Price and condition... This is the part that hurts a bit. Onewheel models aren't exactly cheap. Americans can order a brand-new Pint S for $1,400.
