VWCO APRESENTA NOVO MODELO VOCACIONAL PARA CONSTRUÇÃO CIVIL

VW Constellation 33.260 8x4: the brand's new model dedicated to the construction industry

Vocational trucks are essential for a wide range of segments due to their ability to adapt to different tasks, and the Constructor family has just gained a new member: the VW Constellation 33.260 8x4. Dedicated to the construction industry, the new Constructor is custom-designed to meet the specific needs of the sector and ensure even greater robustness, strength and versatility for operations.

The new vehicles feature 8x4 traction, reduced wheelbase and reinforced suspension, essential features to ensure durability and high performance on rough terrain and in the demanding demands of construction projects. In addition, the model's new configurations ensure better distribution and greater load capacity for the vehicle.

"We developed the truck in close collaboration with a large number of customers in the industry, seeking to meet their needs and comply with Brazilian legislation. As with every new project, it was a job of listening and researching a lot. Based on this information, the team dedicated itself to delivering a product that exceeds expectations and performs excellently in the field”, explains Paulo Perin, Special Vehicle Engineering Supervisor at Volkswagen Trucks and Buses.

One of the main differentiators of the 33.260 8x4 is its maneuverability. Thanks to its reduced turning radius, the truck moves easily in confined spaces, such as construction sites, underground and urban areas. With operator safety and work efficiency in mind, the truck is also equipped with ABS brakes, traction control and hill start assist. The ergonomically designed cabin offers greater accessibility, greater comfort and visibility, reducing driver fatigue and increasing productivity.

“VWCO is recognized for the quality and durability of its products, and our team is dedicated to maintaining this standard with each unit delivered. We combine the experience of years of tradition with the latest technologies, resulting in robust, reliable trucks adapted to the needs of the market”, adds the supervisor.

VW vocational trucks leave the factory already prepared for the implement, reducing time and investment for installation, in addition to operating costs. In 2023, Volkswagen Trucks and Buses led implementations aimed at different segments, according to data from the National Association of Road Implement Manufacturers (Anfir), representing 36.7% of the total volume of vehicles registered by members, which corresponds to more than 22,200 units.
