McLaren Artura Novitec
The arrival of the McLaren Artura on the market over the past two years has not been an easy road, but it seems that deliveries are gradually stabilizing. Taking advantage of the occasion, the German specialist Novitec presents its proposal for the British coupé, which stands out for featuring a carbon fiber package, an impressive spoiler and an increase in power.
It is worth remembering that, with the recent presentation of the McLaren Artura Spider, the car manufacturer announced a 20 hp increase in power, which will also be offered in the coupé version. In this way, the 3.0-liter M630 V6 hybrid engine with twin turbochargers raises its standard figures to 700 hp and 720 Nm of maximum torque.
In addition, the electric motor offers an additional torque of up to 225 Nm. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3 seconds. No less interesting is the fact that it claims a 0 to 200 km/h in 8.4 seconds and a 0 to 300 km/h in just 21.6 seconds. The top speed is 330 km/h. The powertrain includes a 7.4 kWh battery that provides an electric range of up to 33 kilometers.
The tuner's new features on the body of the British sports car include a prominent splitter at the front, a new hood, two-piece side skirts with integrated flaps, a frame for the side air intakes and aerodynamic extensions for the rear bumper. All of this finished in exposed carbon fiber.
To complete the exterior, the new spoiler, whose vertical supports extend from the D-pillars to the rear, is reminiscent of Koenigsegg hypercars; and the new set of alloy wheels manufactured by Vossen have 19 inches at the front and 20 inches at the rear. They are available in up to 72 colors.
To improve handling at high speeds, Novitec sports springs bring the body 20 mm closer to the ground. A glance into the interior reveals leather and Alcantara upholstery available in any colour the customer desires. And as a highlight, the exclusive Novitec Race high-performance exhaust system adds 35 hp (26 kW) to the V6 engine.
This system can be made of stainless steel or Inconel, with optional 999 fine gold plating and custom tailpipes. This results in a combined output of 735 hp from the Artura plug-in hybrid system. All components are sold as a package or as individual parts and can be tailored to the customer's taste.
