Land Rover Defender 130 X Dynamic SE: exotic and exclusive
The new generation Land Rover Defender is having a profound impact around the world. The reinterpretation of an icon for the 21st century is smart, capable and safe for the whole family. There is no other vehicle like it, although it is not the indestructible Defender that we knew from the past. But this Defender Pick-Up brings an exotic touch to the range.
If there's one thing that currently differentiates the Defender from the Wrangler, it's that the latter isn't just an off-road legend. Thanks to the existence of the Jeep Gladiator, a very capable version with a pickup body is offered from the factory. However, it looks like Heritage Customs has the solution for the Defender, and it looks very interesting.
The name Heritage Customs is likely to be familiar to many, as this company has previously enchanted with its Valiance Convertible, an open-air Defender 90. Now called Valiance Pick-Up, the company offers a Land Rover Defender 130 X Dynamic SE with capacity for five passengers and an open rear cargo bed.
Additionally, it adds several accessories. This is the case with the roof rack, the spare wheel or the additional lighting. Instead, the third row of seats and the tailgate wheel disappear, where the Heritage name can now be read. Details are few for now, but the Dutch company has confirmed that it is accepting pre-orders.
The images below are nothing more than digital representations, but as the first production units emerge into the light of day, we will begin to discover interesting customer propositions. The biggest disadvantage of this model is that the starting price is around 155,000 euros, around 50,000 euros more than the factory version, and all this before extras.
