Lancia today presents the Lancia Ypsilon HF, a high-performance version of the first car of the brand's new era, which will hit the market in May 2025, as well as the Ypsilon Rally4 HF, which represents Lancia's return to rallying.

Powered by a 240 hp 100% electric engine and with acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.8 seconds, the Lancia Ypsilon HF will have a low stance, an extended body with an aggressive and muscular shape, inspired by iconic automobiles and most radical elements that make up the brand's history, with form and design at the service of performance.

The model will make its debut on the market in May 2025. After the Lancia Ypsilon HF, the Gamma and Delta will also have an HF version.

The 'HF' logo and the unstoppable elephant's race... The Ypsilon HF will once again bear the 'HF' logo, the historic signature of high-performance Lancia models, first introduced in 1960 at the Geneva Motor Show, when a group of passionate car owners of the brand, he founded the 'Lancia Hi-Fi' ('High-Fidelity') club, an exclusive group of the most loyal customers, reserved for those who had purchased at least six new Lancia cars. The 'HF' logo then became a distinctive element of the HF Squadra Corse Lancia, a structure founded in 1963 by Cesare Fiorio, together with some drivers and owners passionate about Lancia cars, having signed many of the brand's victories.

The historic logo consisted of the capital letters 'HF', in white on a black background, with four small red elephants running, inscribing, at the bottom, in capital letters, the words 'SQUADRA CORSE', white on a red background. Small elephants were chosen as a good luck charm, given the legend that, once launched into a race, these animals are unstoppable, thus becoming a symbol of performance and driving pleasure.

Revealed last March in a revised version, the new 'HF' logo reinterprets the historic logo, making it contemporary: the brand's constituent elements, symbols of Lancia tradition, now appear simplified, both in terms of lines and shapes, creating a new balance, capable of expressing innovation, premium concept and Italianism, with a touch of eclecticism, with maximum respect for the brand's unmistakable geometries.

Lancia returns from the ‘Rally4’ category... From today onwards, the hearts of many rally fans and enthusiasts are beating strong again. This is because Lancia decided to return to the world of rallies, starting from the basis of the competition - the 'Rally4' category - the beating heart of rallies, representative of pure passion, where young drivers begin their careers with passion, to become professionals of the future. A new beginning in the perfect Lancia style, characterized by ambition, pragmatism and humility, in accordance with the brand's mission and DNA.

Lancia continues to be the most successful rally brand of all time, with 15 World Rally Championships, three World Endurance Championships, victory in one edition of the 1000 Miglia, two Targa Florio and a Carrera Panamericana.

The Lancia Ypsilon Rally4 HF is powered by a 1.2-liter turbo engine, with 3 cylinders and four valves per cylinder, with 212 hp. Equipped with front-wheel drive and 5-speed mechanical transmission and mechanical limited-slip differential, the high-performance model represents an ideal solution for the pleasure of all rally enthusiasts, but also a serious competitor for drivers aspiring to victory in the 'Rally4' category. The ‘LANCIA CORSE HF’ logo...In addition to the ‘HF’ logo, the Lancia Ypsilon Rally4 will mark the return of the ‘LANCIA CORSE HF’ logo, the legendary signature of competition vehicles.

The Lancia brand was inspired by the historic logo, now reinterpreted into a contemporary signature, looking to the future, in line with the brand's rebirth plan.

The lettering of the word ‘CORSE’ is now expressed with a font specially created for the occasion.

The logo's graphics, with an oblique font, aim to express the concept of speed, typical of the world of racing, creating stylistic coherence with the shape of the 'HF' logo.

The colors, black and white, used in it also reflect the original concept, in a logo that can be used in both horizontal and vertical declination.
