BENTLEY BENTAYGA APEX EDITION

Bentley Motors is further expanding the visual impact and dynamic capability of the Bentayga through its Mulliner customization division. To this end, this week it announced the launch of a global collection of 20 cars called the Bentley Bentayga Apex Edition, which stands out for its personalized exterior and interior, as well as V8 mechanics.

The Apex Edition is based on the Bentayga S, which features Bentley's powerful 4.0-liter and 2.0-liter turbocharged V8 engine. It develops 550 hp and 770 Nm of maximum torque. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds and reaches a top speed of 290 km/h. Bentley Dynamic Ride, rear-wheel steering and a free-flow sports exhaust system are standard features.

The Apex Edition is made up of six themes. The first of the six is what we see here and features a Candy Red satin exterior, with anthracite and Arctic White stripe decor. Inside, Arctic White primary leather and Hotspur secondary leather are complemented by contrasting stitching and seat piping in Arctic White.

Even rarer will be a seventh theme, which will only be offered to Continental GT Le Mans Edition owners. They will be able to order a Bentayga Apex Edition with matching finishes and colors. These are the Verde Verdant and the Moonbeam Le Mans style. The interior matches the Le Mans Edition Continental GT, with Beluga leather seats and furry Dinamica fabric.

Custom exterior features on all Apex editions include an aerodynamic front spoiler, rear spoiler, satin carbon fiber sills and mirror housings. The icing on the cake are some ultra strong and light 22-inch carbon wheels combined with carboceramic brakes. The four wheels save 24 kg of unsprung mass.

Meanwhile, CSiC brakes save another 20 kg of unsprung mass for greater steering agility and immensely powerful, skid-free braking. Interior details focus on a bespoke color split with satin carbon fiber dashboard, center console and door sills and five-seat Comfort specification.

There are additional bespoke touches such as embroidery on the Apex Edition seats with contrasting Bentley badges, Apex Edition styling on the door sills and carbon fiber running boards. Carbon fiber Apex Edition badges also appear on the outer D-pillar. The Touring spec adds all ADAS to the mix.
