REZVANI RETRO RR1: INSPIRADO NOS LENDÁRIOS PORSCHE 911 DE CORRIDAS DA DÉCADA DE 70

Rezvani Retro RR1 with Porsche 911 (992) DNA

Rezvani Motors' crazy things on wheels are known to everyone. Although in this case we don't find a tank design or strange options like smoke screens or pepper spray dispensers, the truth is that his latest project is quite different. It's called Rezvani Retro RR1 and under its skin is a Porsche 911 (992) with modified panels and mechanical adjustments.

This model is just the first in the new line of Rezvani Retro vehicles. This is expected to cover a wide range of creations, and if they are all like this one, they will have no trouble selling. Rezvani plans to build a total of 50 examples of the RR1. Kit prices start at $149,000, vehicle separately.

This Rezvani project receives a new carbon fiber body that is inspired by the legendary racing cars that dominated the 24 Hours of Le Mans in the 1970s. More specifically, the Porsche 935/78, as well as the contemporary Porsche 935 from 2018. The front part stands out, as does the sloping hood with narrow, rectangular Full LED headlights.

These replace the iconic ovals, with an appearance similar to those of the Taycan. Advancing along the side, widened shoulders emerge that merge into a huge fixed airfoil. The icing on the cake is the Martini-inspired livery and turbofan-style wheels. Under the rear hood, we can choose between three conveniently tuned versions.

The simplest is the RR1 550. Based on the Porsche 911 Carrera S, it delivers 558 hp. It is followed by the RR1 565, which is based on the desired Porsche 911 GT3 and develops 573 hp. It can be combined with a 6-speed manual transmission or a PDK gearbox. The most powerful is the RR1 750, based on the 911 Turbo S with 760 hp and a tune for track or road.

Optional upgrades for all versions include suspension with Ohlins TTX-Pro threaded shock absorbers, more powerful brakes, roll cage, racing belts, a sports exhaust system, retro-themed decals and lightweight polycarbonate windows. Equipping all these options adds another 25,450 dollars to the already large final bill.
