INFINITI QX80 2025: TOTAL RUPTURA COM SEU PASSADO

After 14 years with almost no changes in the market, the Infiniti QX80 2025 arrives with a strong step forward to face rivals such as the Cadillac Escalade in the United States. Although it is perfectly recognizable at first glance, it adopts Infiniti's streamlined 'Artistry in Motion' design language, which was previewed by the QX Monograph concept.

New features include door handles embedded in the body, a new version of the brand's double-arch grille (inspired by the organic shapes of a bamboo grove), an illuminated Infiniti logo, split optics and vertical air curtains. The long, flat hood leads into a cabin with blacked-out D-pillars.

At the rear there is an updated lid with lighting with more than 300 LEDs and a full-width design. It is worth noting that the QX80 offers a new Light Path system as part of its welcome sequence. The Dynamic Metal paintwork, for its part, required no less than six years of development. And moving on to the interior, this is where one of the biggest improvements to the model appears.

The quality and design have nothing to do with its predecessor. There are also dual 14.3-inch screens, integrated Google, a new 9.0-inch screen on the center console for various controls and a luxurious combination of leather, wood and metal. Other highlighted aspects include a gear lever with a button and a portable refrigerator in the center console.

The comfort equipment available is top-notch, but the new biometric cooling system undoubtedly draws attention, which uses an infrared sensor in the interior ceiling to detect whether passengers in the second row feel hot. In terms of space, it grows for legs and knees in both the second and third rows.

The mechanics of the Infiniti QX80 2025...Under the hood, the Infiniti QX80 says goodbye to the V8 engine and welcomes a new 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6. It develops a power of 456 hp and 699 Nm of maximum torque. It is coupled to a new 9-speed transmission that allows both sensitive acceleration and efficient driving on the road. Wheel drive can be front or total.

The SUV also offers an air suspension that can lower the vehicle by 71 mm on the road or raise it by up to 61 mm for off-road use; a stiffer chassis (57% in lateral stiffness and 30% in torsional stiffness); and a wide range of ADAS and safety features, highlighting the optional ProPILOT Assist 2.1.
