MAZDA CX-70 2025: a cutting-edge SUV

The Mazda CX-70 is now official and the truth is that it's a shame the Japanese brand isn't here. In any case, the Mazda CX-70 is a most interesting model that, as we can see, follows in the footsteps of the already well-known CX-90.

With a similar style and an almost identical offering of propulsion systems, the 2025 Mazda CX-70 prioritizes cargo over passengers with its five seats and a large trunk. 

We still need to know many details, which will only be revealed at the end of this year or at the beginning of next year, when the SUV lands in dealerships in the United States.

Mazda wants to position the CX-70 in the premium SUV segment, as is the case with the CX-60 in Europe. That is why the model displays a distinctive style with a large presence of chrome elements and a rich standard equipment. No less interesting is the interior quality, where the model distances itself from many of its generalist rivals in terms of materials and equipment.

The brand also reveals that the CX-70 will offer buyers an expressive and varied interior color palette. This will be complemented with high-quality elements such as gray metallic inlays, Nappa leather and red stitching. There will be no shortage of folding rear seats, Alexa, new driver assistance technologies, additional compartments, a large trunk, etc.

Under the hood of the Mazda CX-70 you can choose between a 3.3-liter turbocharged inline 6-cylinder engine with micro hybridization (284/345 hp in the CX-90) and a plug-in hybrid version (327 hp in the CX- 90). The latter combines an electric motor and battery with a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine. All have full traction.
