UM TESLA CYBERTRUCK PRONTO PARA O SERVIÇO DE CORREIOS ITALIANO

Cybertruck at the service of the Italian Post Office

It is unlikely that the Tesla Cybertruck will be sold in Europe, at least through the official network. It turns out that its controversial angular shape does not fascinate car enthusiasts on the Old Continent, not to mention the issue of approval in crash tests, which is unlikely for Tesla's electric pick-up to be approved.

However, this does not stop the imagination from working, giving way to particular elaborations such as the one created by Garage Italia, which imagined the Tesla Cybertruck ready to enter service in the Italian postal fleet (Poste Italiane).

The American electric pick-up appears dressed in the company's classic yellow livery, blue letters and the inscription “Better late than never” on the rear lid of the body. New graphics, accompanied by a series of modifications to tackle even the most difficult places.

There are, for example, flared wheel arches to make room for the twin rear wheels, a raised configuration, a modified front bumper with bull bar and additional lights, a body-anchored roof rack with additional lights, and side running boards for access the passenger compartment.

In their recreation, the experts at Garage Italia also modified the Tesla Cybertruck's front headlights, with the light strip thinner and 'split' into two segments on each side.

First shown years ago and presented at the end of November 2023, the Tesla Cybertruck is a monster measuring 5.6 meters long and weighing 3.1 tons. Powered by two electric motors, one on each axle, it has a claimed range of 515 km and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds, reaching a top speed of 210 km/h.

If the exterior style is innovative, the interior of the Tesla Cybertruck follows the line of its automobile brothers: a central front monitor to manage all aspects of the pickup and a 9.4-inch rear monitor for passenger entertainment. In addition to the space, there is a small but significant new feature: the total absence of the Tesla logo, replaced by the Cybertruck inscription.
