KTM 1290 S: The next level...Covering many kilometers quickly and effortlessly is the nature of the KTM 1290 S. Optimized for any adventure, the LC8 engine (V2 70°) with 160.3 hp and 14 kgf.m of torque allows entire continents to be crossed quickly, while the new adaptive cruise control (ACC) and semi-active suspension, along with ergonomics and electronic technologies take it to the next level. The reality is that the KTM 1290 S is a reference in the category.

It is the lightest, most compact and most powerful engine, which meets Euro5 standards. For the most hardcore adventurers, the air filter can be cleaned by the rider himself, just by removing four screws.

With six speeds and overdrive sixth gear, the quickshifter changes are ultra-fast and without clutch, a copper-coated gear system guarantees minimal wear. The clutch is slippery and prevents the rear wheel from locking during sudden decelerations and downshifts, while allowing minimal effort to activate it.

Without a throttle cable, the electronic 'ride-by-wire' system also brings extreme lightness to the turning of the handle and precision when opening the throttle for the best delivery of power and torque in the most important moments of riding.

Two separate radiators provide greater heat dissipation, not only for the engine, which has ducts to receive cold air, while the system prevents heat from reaching the pilot's legs.

Redesigned chassis, semi-active suspension and Brembo brakes...New chassis measurements provide more efficient driving parameters. In total, the chassis was reduced by 15 mm and the engine positioning was directed two degrees downward for better contact between the front wheel and the ground during acceleration. Made from chromium-molybdenum steel in a lattice format, it is laser cut and augmented with forged parts. To compensate for the shortening of the chassis, the rear suspension frame gained 15 mm in order to give the rear wheel more control during strong acceleration.

Without comparison, the latest generation of semi-active WP suspension brings the best level of comfort, safety and performance, while the driver can monitor it and change the configuration as soon as he wishes through the controls and the TFT panel, located next to the shock absorber. default WP direction.

The entire safety package could not fail to include Brembo brand brakes. High-performance at the front are 320 mm discs and four-piston calipers, while at the rear they have 230 mm, both monitored by the Bosch 10.3 ME ABS system, which prevents blocking when necessary and activating when not necessary, including when cornering.

Redesigned, the fuel tank has a capacity of 23 liters and greater autonomy. With an electronic cover, it also has a top compartment for a cell phone with USB charging.

The pleasure also lies in the renewed ergonomics. Pedals and new seats have gained adjustments, now in a split format with 20 mm of adjustment while a button gives access to the compartment under the seat. Developed in a wind tunnel, the windshield has 55 mm adjustments to adjust the height for the rider and pillion.

One of the biggest new features in the segment is ACC, Adaptive Cruise Control, a system that guarantees electronic adjustment of speed and distance (five modes) between the motorcycle and the vehicle in front, which provides the rider with great peace of mind and extra safety on the highways.

Without keys, the fuel tank and the bike itself can only be accessed by the KTM On Race, which in case of loss, the sensor can be disconnected by codes via the dashboard. Cornering ABS or MTS traction control can be deactivated for hardcore off-roading, and the riding modes are also pre-adjustable.

You can even forget - sometimes - to activate the turn signals, but never forget to deactivate it, for this the ATIR system will do this job, while through the TPMS - available on the dashboard - it is possible to monitor the calibration of the Mitas Terra Force tires -R, shod on 17-inch ultralight wheels.

KTM 890 S - Versatility and unbeatable performance...In short, the KTM 890 S is a true adventure bike, but easy to handle in cities or in any circumstances. Of this lineage, it is the only one with a larger 19-inch front rim, in order to also offer the best performance on rough terrain or off-road trails.

Renovated, it offers unparalleled handling, whether on highways or gravel. With redesigned and adjustable suspension, greater seating comfort and better wind protection, the KTM 890 S is ready to take you into the unknown.

Very light and compact, the trellis chassis is made of chrome-molybdenum steel and the engine is part of the set to reduce weight and dimensions, which favors performance and dynamism.

The electronic system manages the sophisticated ABS, traction control and riding modes. It features the latest generation KTM MTC with a modern 6D inertial measurement unit. The ABS also works in curves, it is possible to use the braking system at maximum strength through the 9.3 MP management, while in off-road ABS mode, the system interferes less with the front wheel and is turned off for the rear wheel.

Easily accessible through the illuminated control handles, everything is managed through the 5.0-inch TFT panel with display infographics made from mineral glass that has excellent scratch resistance and is glare-free. The unit allows Bluetooth connectivity between the KTMconnect app and the dashboard, for turn-by-turn mapping, music, calls and quick access to Roadside Assistance.

Comfort for the rider and pillion starts with wide and super soft seats on two levels, while the suspensions have been revised and can be adjusted for each terrain manually by the rider. A larger windshield than its predecessor provides all the assistance on the roads and a design that gained the Ready To Race appearance. The tires are Pirelli Scorpion STR with an off-road footprint, fitted on 21-inch spoked wheels at the front and 18 at the rear.

890 SM T - Unparalleled fun and style...The most perfect combination between on and off-road. The 890 SM T is hungry for curves. Features give away your character. With its power and handling, it immediately reaches the top of medium-sized sports touring motorcycles and can surprise even any superbiker. It calls for straight trips and long stretches of curves.

All the technology on board is very similar to the 890 S version, that is, it is the maximum assistance that can be found on a midsize motorcycle today.

Small changes are characteristic of its style and character. The seat is one-piece which allows quick and easy movement without compromising the comfort of the rider and passenger.

An exclusive mode in the ABS system was introduced, ABS Supermoto brings safety with the least intervention possible on the front wheel and switched off on the rear wheel, so that those who enjoy the supermoto style can practice it, while all the other features of ABS 9.3 MP are available and can be used.

Another striking feature in this segment is the pair of 17-inch alloy wheels, shod with exceptional Michelin PowerGP tires, for asphalt and for the highest performance. The lightweight wheels give fantastic handling and excellent dynamics. In general, the ergonomics and design differ from the S model and correspond to the SM T character, more movement on the seat with a more urban and underground style, as is characteristic of the modality.
