HONDA RIDGELINE 2024: ATUALIZADA E COM O NOVO ACABAMENTO TRAILSPORT, MAIS OFF-ROAD

Honda has just presented the renewed Ridgeline 2024 for the North American market

Honda has just presented the renewed Ridgeline 2024, a model that receives subtle aesthetic updates and more technology to expand its appeal among pick-up customers in the United States. The main changes are concentrated in the cabin, at the same time as it receives a new TrailSport finish like its line brothers, although this is purely aesthetic.

The entire Ridgeline line benefits from a 7.0-inch digital instrumentation, which is accompanied by an infotainment system with improved connectivity and a 9.0-inch screen. In terms of design, there is a new central console that fits a large tablet under the armrest. There is also space to store two smartphones. In fact, one of them can be placed on the new induction charging tray in front of the gear lever.

Under the hood is a naturally aspirated 3.5-liter V6 engine that delivers 284 hp of power and 355 Nm of maximum torque. It is coupled to an automatic transmission that sends power to Honda's i-VTM4 torque vectoring all-wheel drive system.

The TrailSport version of the Ridgeline is characterized by its more robust design. It features an exclusive grille design, black moldings, various badges and 18-inch wheels. These are shod with General Grabber A/T Sport all-terrain tires. Added to this are several lower protections and suspension components optimized for light off-road use.

The entire range features revised minor details on the exterior and the model name on the tailgate.

Improvements include new spring and damper adjustments, as well as optimized stabilizer bars to improve axle articulation, off-road capabilities and on-road comfort. The Diffused Sky Blue paintwork is exclusive to TrailSport, and orange details appear in the cabin. The 2024 Ridgeline's cargo capacity is 718 kg in the bed, with a towing capacity of 2,268 kg.
