''Offending'' driver of just 2 years old is stopped by police in the United States
Rose Fern is just 2 years old, but maybe that's why it doesn't get a lump in her throat when she's behind the wheel and suddenly hears the police siren behind her. That's exactly what happened in Okarche, a town with just 1,200 residents in Oklahoma, United States of America.
The girl was driving her pink Chevrolet pick-up, a toy electric car that she received for her birthday, on the public road. And it seems that Rose loves rubbing her teeth while she drives, as long as the vehicle still has power in the battery. The situation became more complicated when the police appeared, with the siren on and the lights flashing, which would leave any driver on the verge of a nervous breakdown. But not little Rose.
After finally pulling over, one of the police officers got out of the patrol car and approached the driver to jokingly ask for her driver's license, which in Kansas is only possible after the age of 16. Rose wasn't one for conversations, foaming at the mouth and concentrating on not missing a single tooth, but the local police chief revealed he was a fan of sharing, posting a message on social media full of humor.
The story went viral, in addition to putting Okarche on the map and doing wonders for the image of the police, especially after this report on CNN written by Jeanne Moos:
