Hennessey bids farewell to the gasoline-powered Camaro with a sticker and 1,000hp
While the factory is making only a few limited series, i.e. giving extra colors and equipment to the gasoline-powered Chevrolet Camaro, which will be parting ways in the 2024 model year, the Hennessey tuning company is pushing the performance of the ZL1 version to 1,000 horsepower – the Hennessey Camaro Final Edition is based on the Exorcist rebuild.
The Camaro made its debut 56 years ago, next year will be the last year of the gasoline engine version, so the Texas tuning workshop is making exactly 57 of this car, which can do more than the normal 1000 horsepower car with the exterior foil graphics and the serial number plaque placed in the engine compartment. By the way, Chevrolet will also offer a car called Camaro in the electric age, but there is no news about it yet, so we do not know when and in what form (leisure car?) it will return to the market.
