BMW M2 GT by the people at Alpha-N Performance

A few weeks ago, the folks at Alpha-N Performance offered a preview of their interpretation of the new BMW M2, also known as the G87. Now your ‘M2 GT’ has become a reality.

The German BMW model specialist based in Rheinbach has tuned the M2 with a carbon fiber aerodynamic kit, which further accentuates the proportions of the twin-turbo coupe. Furthermore, exposed carbon fiber creates high-tech contrast details on the M2's Alpine White bodywork.

The M2 GT pays homage to BMW's great sports models from 1994/1995, the M3 GT and the 318is Class II. This preparation, created by Alpha-N, shares the same name and was designed with a front spoiler with horizontal blades, so that the twin-turbo S58 'breathes' better, and completely new V4 carbon fiber wheel arches.

The hood, partially lacquered with integrated air vent, is also made of carbon fiber, while the prominent rear diffuser would fit well in a GT racing car. The rear spoiler, in turn, is slightly reminiscent of the rare M3 GT E36 special edition from the mid-90s.

Regarding the wheels, Alpha-N opted for Edelweiss' ultra-light LT3 monoblocks in Custom Paint Champagne finish, which are used on the M2 GT with the following dimensions: 20 inches at the front and 21 at the rear.

The fitted Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S tires measure 285/30 R20 at the front and 305/25 R21 at the rear. For a slightly higher price, the German tuner can also equip the car with the Road & Track suspension developed by Öhlins, its longtime partner.

As for the interior, to the left of the M-Sport steering wheel, Alpha-N has integrated a screen into the dashboard, which provides the driver with a lot of interesting additional information. In addition to all the parts fitted to the M2 GT, Alpha-N Performance currently has several new BMW G87 M2s in various colors, which are transformed according to the customer's specifications and are delivered in a relatively short time.

Alpha-N Performance charges 22,900 euros for body parts, but that doesn't include the wheels or interior modifications.
