NOVO CARRO-CHEFE DA LANCIA: CONCEBIDO, PROJETADO E PRODUZIDO NA ITÁLIA

Lancia's new flagship will be launched in an electrified version in 2026

Lancia's new flagship, which will be launched in a 100% electric version in 2026, will be produced at the Melfi plant in Italy. At almost 4.7 meters long, it will be an elegant and innovative fastback that will cover the largest segment of the market. It will be based on the STLA Medium platform and will be produced in this Italian factory, thanks to significant investments under the ‘Dare Forward 2030’ strategic plan.

“Lancia's new flagship will be a stunning and elegant Italian car, beautiful inside and out, where we will truly feel as if we are in the living room of an Italian home. The car will transport the Italian spirit throughout Europe, with almost 50% of units sold outside Italy. The STLA Medium platform will be perfect for Lancia: as a native BEV platform, it will be highly efficient in optimizing comfort and will be available in both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive versions. This platform will provide Lancia’s new flagship with global performance at the highest level, in terms of efficiency and with a range of over 700 km,” said Luca Napolitano, CEO of Lancia.

Lancia has a 10-year strategic plan that includes three new products, one every two years. The New Ypsilon, which will be launched as a hybrid and electric in 2024; the new Lancia flagship, to be launched as 100% electric in 2026, and the Delta to be launched as 100% electric in 2028. Lancia's electrification strategy implies that, from 2026, the brand will offer in its line only hybrid and electric vehicles, and from 2028 only electric vehicles.

The Melfi factory, one of Stellantis' facilities in Italy, is one of the European locations selected to produce next-generation electrified automobiles on the STLA Medium platform, as part of the 'Dare Forward 2030' strategic plan, through which the company aims to reduce Zero your carbon emissions by 2038.

The STLA Medium platform is a new global platform for BEV products from Stellantis, designed to electrify the global automotive market by introducing innovations to serve future-oriented customers. The platform integrates everything necessary to satisfy customer expectations in the areas of greatest importance: best-in-class autonomy, charging times, performance, efficiency and driving pleasure.
