The Ducati Desert-X Rally version is ready for tough terrain
Last year, the Ducati Desert-X, which resembles the legendary Cagiva Elefant in its appearance – the legendary machine that won the Paris-Dakar twice was powered by the Ducati V2, only the owners of the brands at the time decided to launch it under the Cagiva brand name the machine. However, not everyone was satisfied with the machine’s skills, the factory team is treating them with the Ducati Desert-X Rally.

The suspension is completely new, for example, a KYB inverted telescope with a diameter of 48 mm instead of 46 mm is used, and the spring travel increases from 230 mm to 250 mm. At the rear, instead of 230, they use a KYB spring strut with 240 mm travel, which can be adjusted separately for compression and rebound at low and high speeds.

In addition to the chassis, the body has also become durable, as it uses colored plastic with PVC graphics. They didn’t touch the block, the 937 cc Testastretta has 110 hp (9250/min), 92 Nm (6500/min) torque, you can choose from 6 driving programs (Sport, Touring, Urban, Wet, Enduro, Rally), and within these it is also possible is for fine-tuning.

By the way, the factory doesn’t just talk in the air when it comes to the enhanced off-road capability of the Ducati Desert-X Rally, since a production model was launched at the Erzbergrodeo with Antoine Meo in the saddle, and an on-board video of the two-cylinder’s category victory was also published, here:
