Ferrari F296 GTB Mansory: German preparer displays aesthetic and mechanical innovations of the Italian car

In mid-2021, Ferrari presented the first 6-cylinder car for a road model in its history. The Ferrari F296 GTB was born to stand above the F8 Tributo and on this occasion Mansory shows its attractive proposal. The German coach's Ferrari F296 GTB features new aesthetic and mechanical features.

They say the F296 GTB is the most fun car to drive in the Maranello house's product line. We can neither confirm nor deny, but its 2.9-liter hybrid V6 heart is promising. This is the brand's first modern sports car with a 6-cylinder engine.

Thanks to its 663 hp and 221 hp/l, the F296 GTB's V6 combustion engine sets a new specific power record for a series production car. It is combined with an electric motor at the rear capable of delivering up to 122 kW (167 hp). In total, a power of 830 hp and 740 Nm of torque.

As we know, Mansory is a specialist in bringing something extra out of the sportiest models on the market, and today it presents a new comprehensive package that seeks to meet the dreams of the most demanding of mortals. It adds to the Italian sports car both aerodynamic and interior parts as well as a generous additional power kit under the hood.

The forged carbon fiber with red details stands out. The lightweight material is present in the splitter, wheel arch air intakes, air intake frames, side skirts, rear view mirror housings, side air intakes and grille frame. At the rear, it includes forged carbon fiber in the prominent diffuser and spoiler.

ith clear inspiration from the Ferrari FXX K, the model features a pair of aerodynamic fins instead of a traditional rear spoiler. Rounding off the package is a reduction in the height of the F296 GTB and a new set of forged wheels measuring 21 inches at the front and 22 inches at the rear. They are shod with tires measuring 255/30 at the front and 335/25 at the rear.

Inside, the changes focus on the upholstery. The main protagonist is the yellow leather with contrasting red stitching that adorns the seats, door panels and dashboard. This F296 GTB also gets custom floor mats, additional carbon fiber accents, and a variety of red accents around the air vents and cup holders.

The main dish of the preparation hides in the heart of the monster. We now find a total power of 870 hp and a maximum torque of 750 Nm thanks to ECU tuning and a new high-performance stainless steel exhaust system with butterfly valve.
