HONDA

Until now, a naturally aspirated 3.6-liter V6 engine (200-250 hp) represented the top of the Honda Marine range, from now on this role falls to the newly developed 4952 cc, 60° cylinder angle, naturally aspirated V8 with VTEC valve control , which has a power of 350 horsepower. This is Honda’s first self-developed V8 engine.

The BF350 outboard motor made its debut at the Genoa International Boat Show, featuring a premium-looking silver or white housing with large chrome logos. Compared to competitors, they promise 17% lower fuel consumption, and since it only needs 86 octane gasoline, 20% lower operating costs.

They also created a new control panel for the motor, which can be used to control up to 4 motors at the same time. The Honda BF350 gets a 70A generator, which more than covers the current needs of today’s boats.
