Zeekr 001 FR: 1265hp, 0-100k sprint of 2.36s

The premium electric car brand of the Geely concern launches its top model under the name FR, i.e. Future Roads, which is the most agile electric car. Tesla’s 0-100 km/h acceleration from a rolling start takes 2.07 seconds for the Zeekr 001 FR, and 0-100 km/h acceleration from a standing start takes 2.36 seconds. All this is thanks to the newly developed 800-volt high-voltage system and the fact that the 100 kWh capacity battery manufactured by CATL is actually capable of providing 1,265 horsepower.

There are 2 155 kW drive motors on the front axle and 2 310 kW power motors on the rear (the rear ones work in a carbon housing), not a very tire-friendly method, but the sports station wagon can even turn on the spot. Thanks to the aerodynamic package and the Giti tires (front 265/40, rear 295/40) mounted on 22-inch rims, the Zeekr 001 FR can achieve a transverse acceleration of 1.4 Gs, the deceleration is ensured by Brembo carbon-ceramic brake discs, which are 10 (!) , rear 4-piston AP Racing calipers tighten.

In addition to the amazing performance, Zeekr 001 FR will be the world leader in permanent satellite connection, Geely launched its first 5 GeeSAT-1 satellites in June 2022, and by 2025 there will be 72 of them orbiting the Earth. Zeekr also presented its self-developed charging column, which can charge with a power of 800 kW, of which 450 will be installed in China within 2 years. Zeekr will produce 99 pieces of 001 FR per month, and the first batch of the model offered at a price of 1 million yuan (49.7 million HUF) was sold in just 15 seconds.
