Ranger XL 2024: the work version has a modern design and a powerful and economical turbo-diesel engine
A few months after launching the new Ranger in its top-of-the-line version, Ford launches the entry-level XL and XLS versions. In other words, the cheapest options. The XL is aimed at work and is priced at R$239,990(local currency) with 4x4 traction. Meanwhile, XLS caters to mixed use. Thus, it serves both work and leisure. Off-road features include 800 mm immersion capacity and good approach (30º) and departure (26º) angles. Finally, the new Ranger has a ramp crossing angle of 22º and seems at home on uneven dirt tracks with obstacles.
Ranger XLS is a more versatile version...The Ranger XLS can be used for work or as a passenger car for leisure time. This is because it has a larger list of equipment. In this sense, it offers two engine and gearbox options. In other words, there is the Ranger XLS 4x2 or 4x4 with the 2.0 turbodiesel from the XL. This is connected to the six-speed automatic transmission.
