Brand launches the new line of Race-R Pro GP helmets with ECE 22.06 homologation

Shark have introduced the latest addition to their range in the form of the Race-R Pro GP helmet, which now meets the latest ECE 22.06 homologation.

According to the company, the Race-R Pro GP has only undergone minor modifications to meet the strict ECE 22.06 standard. With this approval, the helmet is in line with other models in the brand's lineup, such as the popular Shark Spartan RS Carbon Skin.

Branded as Race-R Pro GP 06, this latest version represents the safest helmet in Shark's arsenal of products. It can feature a number of advanced materials and features, which makes it the best choice for drivers.

the helmet's shell, made from carbon aramid, is lightweight and robust, while its higher density EPS liner provides excellent shock absorption. Additionally, the Class 1 optical visor includes anti-fog and anti-scratch treatments, ensuring optimal visibility.

Significantly, the Race-R Pro GP 06 features a 22% opacity bright colored visor that professional drivers have long used.

The light visor, designated part number TE22, is also approved for road use, but only during the day. This feature enhances the helmet's versatility, suiting riders who want greater visual comfort in different lighting conditions.

As for additional attributes, the Race-R Pro GP 06 features a wind tunnel-tested aerodynamic spoiler and a detachable design that ensures helmet integrity in the event of a crash.

The inner lining, carried over from the previous version, offers a fit like no other, thanks to high-tech fabric and 3D Morpho hands. These elements combine to provide exceptional stability at high speeds, complementing the helmet's aerodynamic properties.

A significant design change for the Race-R Pro GP 06 is the prominent placement of the shark fin logo, which now sits independently on the front of the monochrome models. However, graphical versions will continue to display the logo and signature in their usual locations.

Shark will be offering the Race-R Pro GP 06 in two peg sizes, where the split will appear in the medium size range. Four graphic options will be available: Replica Zarco Winter Test with Chrome, Replica Zarco Chakra, Matte Black and Glossy Red.
