The Metorbike electric moped comes as a café racer

The startup called Metrobike is aimed at those who want a stylish moped, so they made their vehicle in café racer style, with a huge hole in the middle. The permanently 2.72, short-term 9.5 hp drive motor is installed at the bottom, which drives the rear wheel via a chain. The housing of the removable lithium-ion battery, weighing 11.8 kg and capacity 1.6 kWh, is the “tank”, charging (3-4 hours) must be queued outside the moped. The range is about 60 km with one charge. The instrument unit built into the light neck of the Metorbike is also a touch screen, although it does not have too many functions, it is mainly used to switch between artificial engine sounds – even a V10 aspirated engine is available. The starting price of the hand-crafted electric moped in Hamburg is 7,749 euros, but the Metorbike startup team can even implement individual requests for an additional fee.
