Iveco Daily 4x4 Tigrotto: an all-terrain vehicle in the purest Mercedes-Benz Unimog style
The Iveco Daily 4x4 Tigrotto is one of those vehicles designed and created for adventure. It is an off-road vehicle in the purest Mercedes-Benz Unimog style. Introduced at the Hannover Motor Show, it can now also be ordered with right-hand drive for the British market.
The manufacturer informs that it can supply with cabin chassis, which allows bodybuilders to make different proposals to add them to the high-capacity platform. Precisely all available versions, whether focused on the road or off-road, use a 3.0 liter non-hybridized diesel engine with 180 hp. The transmission is permanent integral and an 8-speed HI-MATIC automatic transmission is used to transmit torque to each of the four wheels.
Its design has details reminiscent of the Daily from the 1950s, such as the two-tone bodywork. Inside, the dashboard features a vintage finish through contrasting tones and chaired with the Tigrotto logo, which means tiger dog in Italian.
In addition to its aesthetics, which are very attractive, the Iveco Daily 4x4 Tigrotto has an exceptional drag capacity, as it has a payload of up to 4,165 kilos for a body of just 4.45 meters in length.
The vehicle features 4x4 traction with three locking differentials and low speed gear ratios to maximize traction. Added to this is an ESP developed specifically for the Daily 4x4 Tigrotto that works according to the load it carries.
