AXL SharX-5

Canadian startup AXL Electric Vehicles showcases the SharX-5 crossover, which will retail for $39,800.

As stated, AXL Electric Vehicles wants to offer luxury electric vehicles at a relatively affordable price.

The AXL SharX-5 has an electric motor on the front axle with 209 hp and accelerates to 100 km/h in 7.4 seconds. The battery capacity is 67 kWh, and the range on one charge is up to 500 km. Other details have not yet been released.

Equipment includes adaptive cruise control, cameras, ventilated and heated seats, panoramic glass roof, premium audio system, ability to control the car remotely via the owner's mobile app, 20-inch aluminum wheels...

The Canadian startup is taking pre-orders for the SharX-5 from North America, the Middle East, Europe, Asia and Australia, but has not specified when production will begin.
