Fiat presents a reissue of the Panda 4×40°

Fiat celebrates 40 years of the 4×4 version of the Panda with the presentation of a new collector's edition of the model. It's called Panda 4×40 and will be available in selected European markets (Italy, France, Germany and Switzerland), with production limited to just 1,983 units, in honor of the year in which the undisputed symbol was born.

The Panda 4x40 is based on the 4x4 version of the third-generation model, which has barely changed since 2011. The special edition features Panda Cross bodywork painted in Ivory White, while featuring a host of unique touches with nostalgic styling cues and references. to the 1983 original.

The model stands out for the edition's logos on the plastic guardrails, in addition to a new set of 15-inch steel wheels, painted in Ivory color and with black center caps. It also has red tow hooks and black roof rails.

Inside, the Ivory color continues on the upholstery of the seats, with recycled fabric, double stitching and red details. In addition to the 4×40 logos, we find the silhouettes of the first generation Panda 4×4 and the third generation Panda on the front seats along with “1983” and “2023”.

Fiat does not cite the technical specifications of the model, which will be released later. The Panda 4×4 has been discontinued, so we don't know if the 0.9-liter Twin Air turbocharged two-cylinder petrol will return.

In any case, power is sent to all four wheels via a six-speed manual gearbox with the help of a suitable 4WD system.
