TESLA
The interior of the Tesla Cybertruck is dominated by the central screen
The Tesla Cybertruck is one of the most anticipated cars, not just electric, of this year. As we get closer to the official launch, which will take place in the fall of this year, we are discovering more and more details about the truck with an unconventional design. To this list of details we can now also include how the interior of the car looks, at least at this stage.
The Tesla Cybertruck has an angularity that is not at all like the curved exterior of the other models produced by Tesla. The same story certainly repeats itself similarly inside, judging by some photos immortalized near the Texas Gigafactory and posted on the Cybertruck Owners Club forum.
The interior takes a minimalist approach, dominated by a giant horizontally oriented touchscreen tablet that juts out of a simple dashboard that appears to contain no other controls. If you’ve driven a Model 3 before, it’ll probably be a familiar experience. We can also see a wide rectangular storage compartment under the seats that we already know includes cup holders and a wireless charging pad.
We can also notice the very long and sloping windshield that extends well over the dashboard, which will probably be quite difficult to clean on the inside.
The car’s steering wheel, which has a rectangular shape, also fits into the same unconventional theme. Current Tesla models come with either a yoke-type steering wheel or a regular, full-circle steering wheel, so the one used on the Cybertruck is completely different in concept. Furthermore, anyone who has driven a Tesla before will recognize the rotary controls integrated into the steering wheel spokes.
