MINI

Official spy photos of the recently officially shown 3-door Mini(video below)

More than a year ago, Mini released the first official spy photos of its new battery-electric 3-door model – after we saw the car undisguised in unofficial spy photos in December 2021 – and in fact, the factory itself recently showed the final appearance, but such the introductory campaign, which was planned months in advance, is still full of little things, so here is another batch of factory spy photos of the model made in China. In the press material, they emphasize how well the battery-electric Cooper SE is doing, of which more than 43,000 copies have already been sold in 2022, which is a 25.5% increase compared to a year earlier.

There are already two versions of the new model, the Mini Cooper E has a 184 hp engine and a 40.7 kWh battery (targeted range of 300 km), the Mini Cooper SE has a 218 hp engine and a 54.2 kWh battery (400 km and target range), we will receive more and more accurate data after the official presentation and measurements. Thanks to the new placement of the battery under the floor, it results in 4 fully-fledged seats and an easily expandable luggage space. In addition to the Cooper E and SE coming from China, the Leipzig Countryman (November 2023) and Aceman (2024) will make up Mini’s electric range.
