New X440 model breaks away from the Milwaukee brand's traditional cruiser aesthetic

Harley-Davidson motorcycle enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting the unveiling of the long-awaited model of the legendary American brand made in India.

Now, after months of speculation, Harley-Davidson has officially unveiled its latest creation to the world – the X440. This motorcycle is the result of a collaboration between Harley and Hero MotoCorp and, with its distinctive design, brings a refreshing change to the market.

The Harley-Davidson X440 breaks away from the Milwaukee brand's traditional cruiser aesthetic and draws inspiration from classic XR roadsters. With its flat handlebars, neutral ergonomics and robust appearance, this bike promises to provide a unique riding experience.

At the heart of the X440 is a single-cylinder engine with a volume of 440 cc. Unfortunately, horsepower numbers will only be revealed during the bike's official launch in July.

Ergonomically, the X440 maintains a neutral stance, while the pedals and flat handlebars promote an upright and perhaps slightly sporty riding position, ensuring comfort during city rides.

Although several aspects of the X440 remain consistent with the initial images, there have been some changes, namely in the choice of tyres. The bike now gets MRF tires instead of CEAT. With an 18-inch front wheel and 17-inch rear wheel, the X440 exudes an attractive road presence.

Attention to detail in the X440 is evident, with circular design elements present in the headlamps, turn signals and mirrors. The oval-shaped taillight adds a unique touch, emerging from the rear fender. Notably, the headlights have an LED DRL strip running through the middle, while the indicators sport Harley logos.

Underneath its impressive bodywork, the X440 features a tubular frame and features an upside-down inverted fork and dual preload-adjustable shocks, ensuring a comfortable and responsive ride. In addition, the bike is equipped with a single disc brake at both ends, with dual-channel ABS as standard.
