FORD

The Fiesta – will remain with us as a rally car for a while

The Polish division of M-Sport developed the Ford Fiesta Rally3 racing car, of which they also produced the updated version. The appearance of the racing car, originally presented in 2020, has been adjusted to the current – final, as serial production of the type will stop in Cologne due to the electric transition in June 2023 – appearance, the radiator grille has become larger, the bumper resembles the ST model.

Basically, the technical content does not change, as it is determined by the rules of the FIA (1.5-liter 3-cylinder turbo engine with 235 HP/415 Nm, Sadev 5-speed sequential gearbox, all-wheel drive, 1210 kg minimum weight), but the final drive has been shortened for acceleration in order to improve it, the performance of the braking system was improved by modifying the cooling ducts, and a retuned shock absorber was made for the asphalt and gravel chassis.
