FERRARI F40 BY LIBERTY WALK: UMA PREPARAÇÃO QUE NÃO É PARA TODOS OS GOSTOS

Ferrari F40 LibertyWalk Widebody

More than 30 years have passed since the first appearance of what became an iconic supercar for an entire generation, the Ferrari F40. The car saw the light for the first time on July 21, 1987 and was manufactured until 1992, and until today it still continues to raise passions among motoring enthusiasts. Remembering that its design was in charge of Pininfarina.

Its official presentation took place at the Civic Center of Maranello - where the Ferrari Museum is now located. Of all the historic cars that came out of Maranello, the Ferrari F40 is without a doubt one of the most legendary, among other things because it was the last Ferrari overseen by Enzo, the last car to bear the brand's founder's 'signature'.

In addition to this fact, there are many other secrets that have led the Ferrari F40 not only to become a true museum jewel, but also a true work of engineering art, one of the closest cars to competition that have been homologated for its use. on public road. Now Liberty Walk showcases its work based on this icon.

As we said the other day, whenever something new comes out of the controversial Japanese trainer, it is inevitable that it doesn't call our attention. Its iconic flared bodies, exorbitant spoilers and classic rivets draw attention wherever it goes, and this Ferrari F40 that appears in the images is no exception.

The kevlar/carbon fiber body panels of the original F40 have been replaced with an extensive body kit made from FRP. Among the novelties we can appreciate a new front face with a prominent splitter, a ventilated hood and headlight covers that replace the standard units and bring it closer to the F40 LM.

The rear fenders are more striking, adopting Liberty Walk's classic riveted extensions. The rear features a new diffuser, an adjustable spoiler and Liberty Walk lettering, along with the original Ferrari badge. A pneumatic suspension completes the set. For its part, the central 2.9-liter V6 biturbo engine remains intact.
