EXCLUSIVE: Tesla Model 3 facelift

A few days ago a photo was leaked that – if it’s real – is supposed to show us the facelift that Tesla is preparing for the Model 3. However, the only photo that exists so far is not particularly revealing, and the black is also “to blame” for that body color.

Based on this, the graphic designer named Sugar Chow prepared two rendering photos, and shows us what the updated version of the model will look like.

The Tesla Model 3 facelift will feature new LED lighting fixtures, borrowing elements from the larger Model S/X in terms of design. The bumper looks cleaner thanks to straight lines and a slightly smaller intake for cooling the battery, while the front fenders and hood have also been redesigned.

Be that as it may, the American company has made it known that it will present the renewed version of its most popular model in the third quarter of 2023, to keep it fresh after 6 years on the market.

The Model 3 facelift is internally codenamed project Highland, with Tesla stating that its interior will be even less complex, carrying fewer components, so as to reduce production costs.

The facelifted Model 3 will have changes both inside and out, with the central infotainment screen being improved.
