MASERATI

The Maserati Ouroboros

The Maserati GranTurismo One Off Ouroboros was unveiled at Milan Design Week. Two are manufactured, while the third, the one with the retro design, is a digital creation only. This is the GranTurismo One Off Ouroboros designed by Hiroshi Fujiwara and bearing elements from past Maserati models.

In mythology, the embodiment of life and death, i.e. the eternal cycle, is the snake/dragon biting its own tail, which is the inspiration for the unique GranTurismo Ouroboros, now realized in the Maserati Fuoriserie program.

In this case, an appearance reminiscent of the past was combined with the technology of the future, as the special coupe was made on the basis of the electric motor version called Folgore.

Specifically there is the front grille of the A6GCS Berlinetta Pininfarina, the side vents of the 3500 GT and the shrouded round headlights of Maserati racing cars from the 1960s, such as the Tipo 151.

At the rear, the lamps are reminiscent of something from the Shamal of the 1990s, with magnesium alloy wheels, reminiscent of the Bora of the 1970s.
