Company has prepared a special Le Mans collection of Continental GT
Bentley has prepared a special Le Mans collection of Continental GT and Continental GTC to mark the 20th anniversary of the sixth victory at the iconic French race track.
The Continental GT and GTC Le Mans Collection were created by the Mulliner division, in honor of the Bentley Speed 8 racing car that won the race in 2003.
With a 6.0-liter W12 engine with two turbochargers, the Le Mans Collection version has 650 hp and 900 Nm of torque, so acceleration to 100 km/h takes 3.6 seconds, while the maximum speed is 334 km/h.
Carbon-ceramic brakes, four-wheel steering and an electronic LSD differential are part of the package.
Two specifications are offered: Blackline and Styling. The Blackline features the black and green livery used on the Bentley Speed 8 racing model, while the Styling makes extensive use of exposed carbon fibre.
In the interior, the British Racing Green leather on the seats stands out, and the standard analog clock has been replaced here with a digital one.
The car nods to Bentley’s racing heritage with a white #7 badge on the Matrix front grille, while the lower front bumper, mirror caps and trunk lid are finished in Beluga Black.
There’s also a gold Speed 8 prototype silhouette and a pair of Le Mans badges on the front wings.
The series is limited to only 48 copies, and the price is not mentioned in the news.
