Korean automotive giant revealed this week teaser of the unprecedented KIA EV9

KIA this week revealed two teaser videos of the KIA EV9, the Korean brand's exclusively battery-electric SUV, ahead of its launch. The KIA EV9 will accelerate the company's transformation into a provider of sustainable mobility solutions in the era of electrification.

The KIA EV9 videos profile this flagship SUV with its prominent front end and elegant body surfaces. Eye-catching light patterns created by the front and rear lights complete the EV9's bold identity.

The videos also advance a preview of the KIA EV9's unique blend of elegant and sculptural design, as well as the determined and assertive geometry.

The name EV9 comes from KIA's EV nomenclature, pairing the prefix 'EV' (electric vehicle) with the number '9', which represents the model segment in KIA's lineup of all-electric vehicles.

Like the KIA EV6, the KIA EV9 is built on the Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP) for electric vehicles.

KIA will reveal the full exterior and interior design in mid-March, and product information will be communicated in full during the World Premiere in late March.
