FORD RANGER AMPLIA SUA LINHA COM AS VERSÕES WILDTRAK X E TREMOR PREPARADAS PARA UMA CONDUÇÃO MAIS OFF-ROAD

Ford Pro presents two new Ranger versions: Ranger Wildtrak X and Ranger Tremor

Ford wants the new Ranger to be a true reference in the pick-up market. The blue oval brand already offers different versions of this model, in addition to a more agile and sporty top-of-the-line option with the Raptor surname. But now it's the turn of the versions dedicated more to professionals and marketed by the division specializing in commercial and industrial vehicles.

Ford Pro presented two new versions of this model, the new Ranger Wildtrak X and Ranger Tremor, both with a quality that differentiates them from other versions: greater off-road capacity thanks to modifications to the chassis of these new Ranger, with new springs and Bilstein shock absorbers and new off-road spec safety assistants. Both models have a wide cargo bed, with an optional variable adjustment bar for transporting longer objects that are supported on the roof of the double cab.

The new Wildtrak X has 26 mm more body height in relation to the ground, in addition to an extra 30 mm width on the axles, which allows it to improve its behavior off the asphalt. Added to this is the new ‘Trail Turn Assist’ maneuvering assistant, which reduces the turning radius by up to 25%, allowing you to take very tight turns, with operation up to a maximum speed of 32 km/h.

At the same time, the 'Rock Crawl' driving mode, which until now was exclusive to the Raptor, now takes care of calibrating the throttle response and traction control. Visually, it is distinguished by the black-framed grille, the 'H'-shaped bar on the bumper, the optional Matrix LED headlights with auxiliary lights, the darkened brand insignia and the 17-inch black-painted alloy wheels. Inside, the suede-upholstered seats feature contrasting ‘Cyber Orange’ stitching and an embossed decorative motif on the headrests.

As for the new Ford Ranger Tremor, it is based on the 'XLT' finish, equipped with the same chassis as the previous one, but with more resistant materials inside to reinforce its rigidity. On the outside, it has a pre-installation for a winch, an LED lightbar, more striking moldings on the wheel arches, aluminum side steps and two tubular rear bars.

The two new versions went on sale in Europe, with a 2.0-liter EcoBlue biturbo diesel engine that offers a maximum power of 205 hp, coupled to a 10-speed automatic transmission, along with a torque of 500 Nm from 1,750 rpm . The first units will start arriving at European dealerships from next August.
