FIAT

CEO DA STELLANTIS ANUNCIA A ESTREIA DE DOIS NOVOS FIAT EM 2023

FIAT 600: the brand's new crossover that will arrive next July

Taking advantage of the presentation of Stellantis results, the group's CEO, Carlos Tavares, assured that the manufacturer is preparing two novelties for FIAT that we will know during this year of 2023 and, also, that both will be 100% electric.

The Portuguese executive did not want to go into detail about the two future models of FIAT, although he confirmed their electric nature, and it is from this point that speculation begins about the possible models that the Italian brand could be preparing.

One of these two models could be the FIAT equivalent of the Jeep Avenger, that is, an SUV with very contained dimensions and which has a zero-emissions engine, although in the case of the Jeep, it is also offered with a gasoline engine.

Rumors claim that this crossover could be called FIAT 600 (image above) and debut on the next 4th of July. Furthermore, it is believed to be manufactured at the Tychy plant in Poland on the same production line as the Jeep Avenger.

As for FIAT's second electric novelty for 2023, we can almost rule out the new generation of the FIAT Panda, with a design inspired by the 2019 Centoventi prototype, as it is not likely to debut until next year.

Thus, the launch in this year of 2023 could be the hypothetical FIAT Topolino, that is, a derivative of the Citroën Ami, which, remembering, is also available in another brand of the group under the name Opel Rocks-e. Both are considered light ATVs.

On the other hand, rumors have also been circulating for some time about the possible return of the FIAT Multipla as a replacement for the FIAT 500X and the Tipo, but at the moment there is no official confirmation in this regard and, in any case, it would not arrive until the middle of this decade.

If in the end this comes to fruition, let's hope that the design evolves a lot compared to the original model, taken out of the catalog in 2010, since it wasn't precisely one of its strengths.
