CHEVROLET SILVERADO JACKAL BY PAXPOWER: COM 650 CV CHEGA PARA BRIGAR COM A FORD F-150 RAPTOR

SILVERADO JACKAL BY PAXPOWER...So far, Chevrolet has not launched a competitor for the powerful Ford F-150 Raptor, so the American specialist PaxPower has decided to solve this problem on its own and has just presented an update of its brutal Jackal . Based on the Chevrolet Silverado, the Jackal Silverado is available with three levels of modification and several aesthetic novelties.

The specialist's creation located in Houston, Texas, can be developed from any double cab, short bed Silverado. It all starts with removing the standard body panels and replacing them with new ones. New panels and wheel arches add additional width to the model's brutal bodywork.

The company itself advertises its Jackal as a very capable killer of Raptors. Stage 1 modifications include a hood with air intakes and flared wheel arches. The pick-up was also equipped with 17-inch wheels shod with 35-inch Toyo R/T tires. But beware, the updates are not just visual.

PaxPower also fitted this model with a set of suspensions from BajaKits, with coilover shock absorbers and parts from King. Stage 2 is the one that is focused on competing directly with the Raptor, adding to the previous package custom protections and even wider wheel arches.

The suspension has also been improved, as the dampers are adjustable and a front pre-runner kit has been installed. There are also modifications to the rear to improve its off-road capabilities and improve load and drag capability. Lastly, Step 3 introduces broader upgrades with a complete package.

The exterior features Addictive Desert Designs bumpers and a 40-inch LED light bar. The model was also fitted with larger 37-inch Toyo R/T tires. The suspension has been updated and features 3-inch shocks with an internal bypass. It was also equipped with Deaver springs that increase suspension travel.

PaxPower offers the Jackal Silverado with 3.0-liter diesel, 5.3-liter V8 and 6.2-liter V8 engines. The 6.2-litre V8 can be supplemented with a 3.0-litre supercharger to generate 650 hp and 881 Nm of peak torque. This version also includes a high-flow air intake, a separate cooling system and a tuned ECU, as well as a Borla exhaust system.
