CHEVROLET CORVETTE C8 STINGRAY H700 BY HENNESSEY: CAPAZ DE BATER O PODEROSO Z06

CORVETTE C8 STINGRAY H700 HENNESSEY...Hennessey, the Texas-based supercar manufacturer, has just introduced the Hennessey Supercharged Corvette C8 Stingray H700. It is a model that has been equipped with a powerful engine that elevates the mid-engined Stingray coupe to extravagant levels of power and torque that surpass even the revered 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Z06.

The eighth-generation Chevrolet C8 Corvette Stingray features a mid-mounted 6.2-liter LT2 V8 engine. With a natural aspiration system as standard, the model delivers around 500 hp and 630 Nm of torque. To unlock the full potential of this exotic V8, the engineering team at Hennessey installed a high-flow centrifugal compressor, an air induction system with an air-to-water intercooler, and an improved cat-back exhaust system, the latter being a case of optional character.

The improvements arrive accompanied by a software update, thanks to which in the end customers will manage no less than 718 hp and 854 Nm of torque. This improvement means no less than a 44% increase in power and 37% in torque compared to the series model.

In terms of power, the supercharged Corvette C8 Stingray H700 eclipses even Chevrolet's flagship C8 Z06, whose naturally aspirated LT6 5.5-liter flat-shaft V8 engine produces 679 horsepower and 623 Nm of torque.

John Hennessey, Founder and CEO commented: “The original C8 Corvette Stingray is an extraordinary sports car, but Chevrolet left room to improve the performance of the V8 engine. Our exciting 'H700' supercharger package integrates seamlessly with the 8-speed dual-clutch transmission, and our exhaust is much more aggressive than the original.”

The complete Hennessey Supercharged 'H700' Corvette C8 Stingray upgrade package includes the supercharger, intercooler, engine tuning, lighter wheels, cat-back exhaust and graphics for around $50,000 (the base car).

The 19-inch and 20-inch alloy wheels are offered in a brushed aluminum, satin black or graphite finish, while the eye-catching Hennessey Heritage Livery sticker is offered in blue, white, black, silver or red. A package that upgrades just the supercharger and warranty is offered for around $35,000 (the base car).

The Hennessey 'H700' package is backed by a full 3 year limited warranty.
