AUDI RS Q8 BY PRIOR DESIGN

Audi RS Q8 with fancy Prior Design aero package

The Audi RS Q8 by Prior Design takes the German SUV to the heights of radicalism thanks to an extravagant aerodynamic package. Under the hood, unfortunately, the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that also powers the Audi RS 6 Avant and RS 7 Sportback remains intact. Remembering that the RS Q8 became the king of the Nürburgring Nordschlife on its own merits.

Its mechanics offer 600 hp of power and 800 Nm of torque available between 2,200 and 4,500 rpm. The RS Q8 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds, while the sprint from 0 to 200 km/h is done in just 13.7 seconds. It reaches a limited top speed of 250 km/h, although it can be increased as standard to 305 km/h.

If there is something for which the German specialist Prior Design stands out, it is for the preparations that he performs on countless German models, always giving them a sporty and more aggressive touch without going beyond the tacky line. Now, his proposal for the Audi RS Q8 offers a more striking exterior based on carbon fiber, as it could not be otherwise.

On the exterior, the specialist's work involves an aggressive bodywork package. It adds several elements, such as a front spoiler, new moldings for the front air intakes, side skirts, enlarged wheel arches and a renewed bonnet with a tremendous air intake in a central position. At the rear, there is a new diffuser and two spoilers.

One is located on the ceiling, and the other at half height. The icing on the cake is the new fins on the rear bumper. In this example, the new elements stand out in black over a light blue bodywork. No less striking are the huge light-alloy wheels, although they do not appear in the German specialist's accessory offer. A pneumatic suspension module allows you to adjust the height of the bodywork.
