FERRARI

MAIS UM ANO DE RECORDE PARA A FERRARI: 13.221 CARROS VENDIDOS EM 2022

Manufacturer from Maranello registered more than 13,000 cars in 2022

Although 2022 was a turbulent year for the auto industry, marked by several problems, such as the increase in the price of raw materials, the persistent shortage of microchips and high fuel tariffs, Ferrari achieved a new record year.

The manufacturer from Maranello set a new record for the number of cars delivered to customers, achieving sales in 2022 of 13,221 cars, which means an increase of 18.5% compared to the previous year (11,155 units sold in 2021).

The Italian brand also achieved another important milestone in its history, in addition to the number of deliveries, as the company's financial results were very positive, with a turnover increase of 19.3%, from 4.27 to 5.09 billion euros.

In addition, Ferrari has also managed to significantly increase (13%) its net profit, that is, the company's accounting result, which reached 939 million euros in 2022, compared to 833 million achieved during the previous year.

“Last year closed with exceptional financial results that met and exceeded our forecasts, setting new records by all measures, such as net income of €939 million and free cash flow generation of €758 million. These figures lay the foundations for an even more solid year of 2023, driven by the high demand for our products around the world”, said the company's CEO, Benedetto Vigna.

“Despite the complex global macroeconomic scenario, we look forward with great confidence, encouraged by the numerous achievements of an evolving company. We are constantly innovating our products and processes, bringing us closer to our decarbonization goals”, concluded the company's boss.

Ferrari's main market continues to be the so-called EMEA zone (Europe, Middle East and Africa), with 5,958 cars delivered and an increase of 8.5%, while the American continent remains in second place with 3,447 units registered (21.8%). followed by the APAC countries (Asia Pacific) with 2,264 (17.1%).

The biggest growth, however, was recorded in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, with a net increase of 72.6%, thanks to 1,552 Ferrari deliveries.

Ferrari models with an internal combustion engine accounted for 78% of deliveries worldwide, while hybrids accounted for 22%.

Sports cars such as the Ferrari Portofino M and the SF90 Stradale and Spider, as well as the F296 GTB and the F812 Competizione, have driven the increase in deliveries during 2022, according to the brand, although the model most anticipated by many customers, the Purosangue, will hit the market in 2023.
