Buick Encore GX 2024: renewed, model hits the market with several updates

The Buick Encore GX 2024 is already a reality. The revamped model sports a completely new face, while its interior is updated with an improved infotainment system. It will go into production next March and will arrive at dealerships in the United States in the second quarter of this year. Prices range from $26,895 to $33,195.

Billed as "modern, sophisticated and stylish," the revamped crossover showcases Buick's new design that was previewed by last year's electric Wildcat EV Concept. Features a brand new logo and a rounded front. The bumper, the LED headlights and the grille were redesigned, which is lower. In the ST sport trim there is more aggressiveness.

The side view is completed with 18-inch and 19-inch wheels, while the rear now features the 'Buick' badge. In the ST version we can find, in addition to greater sportiness, high-gloss black bumpers and an optional black roof. There are three trim levels: the basic, the sporty ST and the more luxurious Avenir, which is new to the line.

The 2024 Buick Encore GX cabin now includes an 8.0-inch digital instrument cluster and an 11-inch infotainment system. It offers greater customization possibilities and, of course, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Both the dashboard and center console have been redesigned.

The ST version adds a flat bottom steering wheel, while the Avenir is distinguished by an exclusive two-tone cabin and lots of comfort equipment. Under the hood, customers can choose a 3-cylinder 1.2-liter turbo engine as an access version, which delivers 139 hp of power and 219 Nm of maximum torque.

On top is the optional 1.3-liter turbo engine that develops 157 hp and 236 Nm of maximum torque. Both appear coupled to a CVT-type automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. All-wheel drive is optional and, in this case, is combined with a 9-speed automatic transmission.

The Buick Driver Confidence Assistance Package is standard, including Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane Keeping Assist with Lane Departure Alert and IntelliBeam headlamps. Options available in terms of safety include adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning with side blind area alert and a rear camera mirror.
