TESLA MODEL Y NOVITEC...The Tesla Model Y is gaining ground in the electric car market, an SUV with an attractive design, but completely lacking in sportiness. The Germans at Novitec created a package specially developed for this model, where lightness and aerodynamics are fundamental qualities. The exquisite tuning specialist has transformed the image of the Tesla crossover, so that it will powerfully catch the attention of owners.

After retouching the Tesla Model 3, Model S and Model X, now it was the turn of the Tesla Model Y, which Novitec endowed with a more aggressive personality, drawing attention to the details: the first was the lowering of the suspension in relation to the ground , which had its height reduced by 40 millimeters compared to the series model, thanks to new springs. The second, the new, large 22-inch diameter light-alloy wheels painted in glossy black supplied by the Americans from Vossen. They can be painted in 72 colors, and are shod with tires measuring 255/30 ZR22 on the front axle and 285/30 ZR22 on the rear.

The extra aggressiveness received by the electric crossover that can be appreciated at the front is the result of a package of aerodynamic components made in exposed carbon fiber, so that the traces can be seen clearly thanks to a high-gloss sealant, not being necessary to apply no varnish of any kind.

Still, for the most refined, the elements can also be painted in the same color as the bodywork or in a contrasting tone. The front bumper is completely new, and transforms the front view with a large air intake in the center and a prominent spoiler on the lower edge, reducing front axle lift at high speeds. The spoiler placed on the edge of the tailgate serves the same purpose, increasing stability.

The rear bumper also acquires a more sporty style with an imposing diffuser. The side skirts also have special fins to deflect strong air at high speed. These are very simple improvements that do not have a counterpart in the interior or in terms of mechanics, as Novitec has not changed the electric motors. The package is compatible with the 347, 514 and 534 hp versions, although Novitec has not reported whether this package improves performance and autonomy.
