Carlex Mercedes-AMG G63 Gold & Mint Edition
Carlex Design presented its new project based on the Mercedes-AMG G63, which it called the Gold & Mint Edition.
The luxury SUV hasn't received any performance upgrades, but that doesn't matter considering the fact that it's powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine that develops 577 hp and 850 Nm of torque. Modified G-Class examples are usually style-focused anyway, and this example will definitely turn heads wherever it appears thanks to its “wacky” color scheme.
The entire bodywork is painted in a mint pastel shade, which contrasts with the carbon fiber details, highlighting the new radiator grille. The spare wheel cover on the tailgate is also made of carbon fiber.
Badges are finished in gloss black, while 23-inch Carlex Design wheels fill the wheel arches, reminiscent of Rolls-Royce wheels.
As unusual as the exterior looks, the interior pushes the boundaries even further with a matching color scheme for the front and rear seats, dashboard, center console, armrests, side panels, steering wheel and even the tailgate.
The same color characterizes the pillars and roof, as well as the visors, while Alcantara provides a more premium feel. The interior is also rich in carbon fiber.
All the mentioned modifications cost a “scandalous” 51,300 euros in total, and of course this amount does not include the six-figure price of the G63 model, which must be purchased in advance.
